Cold-natured Florida residents know the dilemma all too well. It’s broiling outside, and the A/C is blasting inside, and you spend the dinner, the movie or the doctor’s appointment shivering in misery.
Joanne Snodgrass, of Palm City, has an answer for that. Dubbed the Kimini, it’s a lightweight, convertible sweater/scarf/top that provides stylish coverage.
On Friday morning, Snodgrass and the Kimini will face off against two other products to be named the “Today” show’s Next Big Thing. The winner of the “Shark Tank”-style competition will pitch get the chance to pitch her product on QVC.
The Kimini is already sold at the store Snodgrass owns — Nouvelle Resort Apparel & Accessories in Palm Beach — as well as Anushka Salon & Spa in West Palm Beach and Snappy Turtle in Delray Beach.
