The neighborhood uproar over a new strip club in suburban West Palm Beach is the latest chapter in Palm Beach County’s long, rich history of public squabbles over nudity, provocative public art and the law.
When the Double Dee’s Ranch and Saloon opens in November on Southern Boulevard west of Florida’s Turnpike, it won’t be the first time that the county has been simultaneously titillated, appalled, and amused by the collision of prurient and economic interests.
