Today’s the day that Fisher Auction will sell off the one-time heartthrob’s Fort Lauderdale home, and even if you don’t have a spare $3 million to join the bidding, you can still get a peek at how a former star of “The Partridge Family” lives.
Cassidy paid $1.1 million for the waterfront address in 2001, and spent another $1 million on renovations. He declared bankruptcy in February.
That’s why he’s selling his manse and all its furnishings. “My soon-to-be ex-wife and I need to resolve our financial problems,” the 65-year-old Cassidy told The Associated Press last month.
The home on Mayan Lake has five bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms, chef’s kitchen, gym and resort pool. And, yes, it’s outfitted with hurricane windows and doors.
